Just came over to this thread, have been haunting Quantum forum for a while. While the Oasis ships are truly amazing, the picture of the engines does not impress me that much. For those who have "engine envy" here is one of the most powerful diesel engines in the world;

Note the men standing on the various levels, for size comparison.

 

The 14 cylinder version is 80,000kw, or 82% of Oasis' TOTAL power from 6 engines.

 

Now, that's an engine.

 

Looking at the equipment installed in the "keel laying" block, that looks like a couple of fire pumps/sprinkler pumps, and the stuff on the left looks like the engine room water mist fire suppression system, so I would say this block is about midships fore and aft.
