NOSaints1 Posted October 27, 2014 #1 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Just wondering how many people have done it on this ship and are the OV rooms roomy enough? Do they give you anything for booking a b2b and how do you go about booking one? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Rare John&LaLa Posted October 28, 2014 #2 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Lots of B2B's on Freedom. Nothing really given to you, but try and get the same cabin Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Forums mobile app
Langley Cruisers Posted October 28, 2014 #3 Share Posted October 28, 2014 Well, I think you'll probably get a few people weighing in on this, but the procedure varies from ship to ship, just so you know. A B2B is not one long cruise but more so separate cruises, each treated as such. There is no discount for booking a B2B cruise. However, consecutive cruisers may be given a special lunch in the dining room on "turnaround day" (as I said, each ship is different). If you can, try to get the same cabin for each cruise. It is so much easier and fun this way, but if it doesn't work out, no harm done. On the last morning of your first cruise, you can stay in your cabin if you like or just do whatever you want until it is time to meet with the other consecutive cruisers. You will all be escorted off the ship by a staff member, in a group and then escorted back on. Details on the exact procedure will be given to you in a letter in your cabin, and there will be a meeting for you all as well. We love B2B because as hectic as the last day is for everyone else, for consecutive cruisers it is wonderful. Well... until the next week when you have to get off too! :D . Langley Cruisers Posted October 28, 2014 #6 Share Posted October 28, 2014
What about if you buy the Pop package, do you have to buy it again on the second leg?
Yes, as I said in my reply above it is considered two separate cruises. Any packages you buy on the first one do not apply to the second cruise.
NOSaints1 Posted October 28, 2014 Author #7 Share Posted October 28, 2014 If you get Gold after 3 cruises than do your benefits apply to the second cruise? Sent from my iPhone using Forums
You should be Gold after one completed cruise on Freedom. Talk with the Loyalty Ambassador onboard. They will usually recognize your new level after the first cruise is completed.
