Then lost $10 real $ on slots. 1045am waited in terminal for Peggy’s Cove tour at 1145am. Nova Scotia means New Scotland. Halifax has 400,000 people, Nova Scotia has 1 Million people. Not much snow in Halifax. Houses in Halifax cost $500,000 to $1 Million.

A female lobster lays 10,000 to 40,000 eggs-they float to the top of the water where they are eaten by fish & birds. When they get heavy enough they sink to the bottom-but only about 10 to 12 out of 10 to 40 thousand. In the olden days lobster was not a delicacy, they feed them only to slaves and dogs.

The French in Nova Scotia were called the Arcadians. The British sent them away in the 1700’s. New York refused to accept them, but they were allowed to settle in Louisiana where they were called the Cajuns

On 9-11 49 American airplanes were ordered to land in Halifax, they were so heavy on the runway they were stored they sunk in. All the hotels were full so local people volunteered to house and feed them.

Peggy’s Cove very pretty, took many pictures, the lighthouse is very neat. We were to by the tour guide about a ghostly fisherman who has been seen running out to see if this fishing boat had returned to shore. As we were driving past a yellow house, the front door opened and n fisherman in a floppy hat and coat ran out and waved to everyone on the bus.

In the olden days lobster was not a delicacy, they fed them only to slaves and dogs.

Maine is the only state with 1 syllable. Kennebunk is an Indian name meaning “Crooked River.”” Main produces 98% of the countries lobster. One restaurant in Kennebunk so fancy a table for 4 has 4 waiters. Pampas weed was used by Indians for diapers, now we have Pampers. A Lobster Roll is like a hot dog with but filled with lobster. The Bush Compound is 12 acres on a point of land, it is all grey buildings.

Went to Deck 2 Forward Theater to meet tour of Boston. Boston Founded in 1632 by Puritans from Boston, England. John Hancock was as rich as the King of England, after inheriting from his uncle. He funded 1st year of the American Revolution (He paid the American soldiers). Paul Revere was a silver engraver . We stopped at the Lexington Green, where the local militia fought the 1st skirmish of the American Revolution against 200 British Solders. Only 8 were killed on each side.

The English soldiers were on a point of land with a long narrow arm going to the shore or a trip by row boat across the bay, 1,000 were set to fight the Americans. The Americans set up for a signal of 1 if by land and 2 if by sea by lanterns in a church steeple. They came by sea, and got stuck in the mud 9 yards from the shore and the British had to get out and walk in the water 9 yards to the shore. They were then wet and covered and had to force march 20 miles, 200 stopped in Lexington Square to fight the Americans and 800 marched further to Concord. We then went to Concord where many famous people lived. We passes Louisa May Alcot’s house where she wrote “Little Women.” We passed house of Ralph Waldo Emerson and Walden Pond was somewhere in the area.

In the olden days people were buried in mass graves called crypts. When they feared some people were being buried while no fully dead, they put a long tube into the ground and a bell above ground and a string going into the crypt. If you were a dead ringer (still alive) “you could be saved by the bell.”

We next went to Cambridge, Mass and Harvard University. Harvard started o 1 acre as a seminary for young gentlemen. It is now 360 acres. Radcliff was built across the common from Harvard. Harvard was for men and Radcliff was for women, now they are both Harvard. 130pm arrived back at ship. We saw the statue of lies in the Harvard Square. A plaque says it is of John Harvard The Founder of Harvard..It is not of John Harvard, but someone else and John Harvard was not the founder, he donated $500,000 and his Books. It used to be good luck to rub the statues boot, but every night after dark, students piss on the boot, so it is not lucky to touch the boot.

145pm LUNCH Lido**Cheeseburger 9**Hot Dog w/fried onions 9** French Fries 8**Diet Coke 9**DESERT**2 Snicker Doodle Cake 9**Decaf Coffee 9**

300pm read in room. 330pm sat on balcony to watch ship sail at 4pm. It was rainy, overcast and cold all day in Boston. That night after we left Boston, we hit 67 MPH and the ship at one time listed 5 degrees to starboard. Wife was a digital workshop and heard crashing all over ship, I guess they lost a lot of booze bottles and glass wear. The elevator turned off when the ship hit a 5 degree list. The Captain announced he expected 25 MPH winds, not 67 MPH, he was surprised. The ship was very bouncy. I have never seen it so rough, I was bouncing around in bed all night, and nearly rolling off.

Sorry OP. A lot of it might be that clearly there are some formatting issues that came from trying to paste this onto CC< but I'm having a hard time even attempting to read this.

With that said, Eurodam is a fantastic ship so while I can't really tell from your posts, I hope you found that to be the case as well.

There does seem to be a cut and paste problem here which makes reading difficult.

Thanks for trying and it sounds as though you were well fed on your cruise.

As a Maritime Province local I would like to point out that the French in the Maritime Provinces are called Acadians and not Arcadians. Arcadians are Greek.

For the OP,

If you change your font on your WP (or whatever you are copying and pasting from) to Verdana to match the CC font, it will come out much easier to read.

Alternatively, if it's available on the CC options you can change the font to match your document.

I've found it easier to change the original document in the past.

that would make your posts a lot easier to read.

Will go to Windows 8 class at 330pm today. Last night lost all of $50 I got free in Casino from HA Credit Card.

In the olden days lobster was not a delicacy, they fed them only to slaves and dogs.

The French in Nova Scotia were called the Acadians.

145pm Kennebunkport Tour. The port area is all landfill. In the 1700’s the British bombed Portland for 8 hours. There are 2 towns, Kennebunk and Kennebunk port.

Thank you for taking the time to reformat your posts. I understand that you wouldn't have seen the problem.

I am glad you had a good cruise. I am trying to work in a B2B around my nieces wedding and this is a good review for me to see.
