Laundry on the Sunshine

I've read some conflicting information on this and wanted to check in with you wise ones. :-)

 

Are there laundry rooms on the Sunshine? If so, where? If not, can you tell me how much it costs to do get one's laundry done?

Laundry rooms are on decks 1,2,6,7,8,9 all midship. Cost is $3 for washer and $3 for dryer. Soap is $1.00. To send laundry out it is $15 per bag. If you roll your clothes tight and put in bag you can get quite a bit in them.

There are laundry rooms on the Sunshine (and all Carnival ships). It has been a while since we used one but it used to be $3 a load to wash and $3 load to dry. I am sure someone will correct me if I am wrong. They also have a laundry service and offer a reduced rate late in the cruise on a bag charge.

Also, the washer and dryer are operated with your S&S card, so no need for quarters for them. I'm not certain about how the laundry supply machine works since we took our own Tide pods.

Thanks tons for the replies. It's nice to have a choice, though I'll likely opt to have it done rather than hanging out in the laundry room.
