How was your cruise? Plus one day to go for your next. Jealousy settling in!:)

 

It was very nice. We had several days of rough weather but QM2 combines a very heavy bulk with the design features that make the Prinsendam ride so well and is probably the most seaworthy cruise ship afloat. We hardly noticed anything.

 

At noon each sea day they test the horns. There are 4 of them and the 2 deep ones are powerful enough to knock your fillings out. QM2 rarely visits Ft. Lauderdale but I would love to see those horns get some full use in the channel. That would be an awesome sailaway.

They are on deck 7, starboard corner suite -- one can make out two bodies to the right of the flag)

Missing video issue resolved: I added Adblock and it for some reason it blocks the video (but not from the 2-in-1 view) I had to exclude the webcam page from ad blocking.

Friends just got off the Zuiderdam today and couldn't stop raving about the food and the service. It was nice to hear.
