Snorkel/lunch/shop

My husband wants to snorkel (beginner) and I want to lay in the sand and enjoy peace (we have3 kids but the is a mommy and daddy vac) do not want beach with lots of toys/kids...just beauty. Would also love recommendations for a great lunch and shopping deal places to go. Thx!

Just go to any beach,(all are public) take your own snorkel gear, and let hubby have at it. You can lie there and read, sun..whatever. Shopping is right across from the dock..as well as many restaurants.

Snorkeling consists of floating or swimming with your face in the water. It's not hard, and in the Caribbean, the water is so clear, you don't really need to get your face wet!

I suggest that your husband snorkels for a hour or so at Eden Rock and then take a cab to Royal Palms Or SeaGrape on 7 Mile beach. There is a small sandy area that you can sit and enjoy the views at Eden Rock.
