cruz chic Posted November 27, 2014 #126 Share Posted November 27, 2014 FWIW, I'm on the NA right now and I've been invited to both Mariners lunches. That said, I don't really care.

syesmar Posted November 27, 2014 #129 Share Posted November 27, 2014 In 2013 aboard the Eurodam, we received a call in our stateroom informing us that we had missed our Medallion Ceremony. We never received the invitation to it nor the Brunch (one of several invites we never received on that cruise, but were told we should have!). Since it was a Collector's Voyage, they re-scheduled us to the next segment so that they could present the Medallions. This past year aboard the Nieuw Amsterdam, there was a conflict of schedule for us with the timing of the first-leg Brunch to which we were invited, so I called the Front Office to ask if we could attend the 2nd-leg Brunch instead. They notated our details and told me we would receive an invitation for the next segment, which we did. Like a previous poster mentioned, depending on who you speak with, I got the impression that they would accommodate requests to attend both if asked. (But of course, the issue at hand is if you find out after the fact.)
SilvertoGold Posted November 27, 2014 #130 Share Posted November 27, 2014 The Mariner Society terms and conditions allow Holland America to change anything at any time for any reason. Some key points from http://www.hollandamerica.com/marinerSociety/Main.action : I just go with what I have been told in writing by the Mariner Society.
