ABQrobin Posted November 10, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 10, 2014 I must say the cruise was much better than we had ever expected. LOVED it all. Halloween onboard was definitely a bonus. The MAGIC really does Halloween like an all day party. It was a total blast. There were lots of families with kids onboard which surprised me. They had several different activities for the kids, from a costume contest to scavenger hunt. It was fun to see all the kids! I am sure the parent will have to explain to them all for the next 10 years that every cruise does NOT mean Halloween. LOL So here are some photos of the day: Pumpkin carving by the pool shop decorations everywhere the nightime party in the main lobby was insane! some of my favorite costumes: more.... ABQrobin Posted November 10, 2014 Author #4 Share Posted November 10, 2014 (edited) at the Costume Contest, our Cruise Director James Dunn and his crew performed THRILLER for us. It was cool, too. some of the finalists the couple who were Google Maps was too funny some of the costumes were a bit disturbing... WINNER.... or should I say winners... a tie Cheech & Chong and Edward Scissorhands fantastic choices, IMHO Edited November 10, 2014 by ABQrobin
LindseyButlerWilson Posted November 10, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 10, 2014 We were on this cruise last year for our honeymoon. It was so fun! I definitely want to do more Halloween cruises. Those were some amazing costumes!
jbarbieri Posted November 10, 2014 #6 Share Posted November 10, 2014 We were onboard the Freedom during Halloween, and I gotta say, it was pretty impressive. They did do a lot of Halloween activites, and not just for the kids. Some of the adult costumes were great, made me wish I brought one (kind of). My boys enjoyed every minute of it. They both wanted to be pirates (go figure, but at 2 and 4, gotta do what they want, right?? :) ) I don't have any pictures, however, since it was a Sea Day for us, and the cameras (and phones) were put away. If I were to go again, I would not hesitate to do a Halloween one. --John

ABQrobin Posted November 10, 2014 Author #9 Share Posted November 10, 2014 If you enjoy Halloween at all, you need to do it on a cruise. It was so much fun. I think we might do it again next year, in fact. Our son (age 26 who didn't go with us) says he must do it next year as it looks like the most fun party ever.
