Halloween 2014 - on the Carnival MAGIC (photos)

I must say the cruise was much better than we had ever expected. LOVED it all. Halloween onboard was definitely a bonus.

The MAGIC really does Halloween like an all day party. It was a total blast. There were lots of families with kids onboard which surprised me. They had several different activities for the kids, from a costume contest to scavenger hunt. It was fun to see all the kids! I am sure the parent will have to explain to them all for the next 10 years that every cruise does NOT mean Halloween. LOL

So here are some photos of the day:

at the Costume Contest, our Cruise Director James Dunn and his crew performed THRILLER for us. It was cool, too.

We were onboard the Freedom during Halloween, and I gotta say, it was pretty impressive. They did do a lot of Halloween activites, and not just for the kids. Some of the adult costumes were great, made me wish I brought one (kind of).

My boys enjoyed every minute of it. They both wanted to be pirates (go figure, but at 2 and 4, gotta do what they want, right?? :) )

I don't have any pictures, however, since it was a Sea Day for us, and the cameras (and phones) were put away.

If I were to go again, I would not hesitate to do a Halloween one.

If you enjoy Halloween at all, you need to do it on a cruise. It was so much fun. I think we might do it again next year, in fact. Our son (age 26 who didn't go with us) says he must do it next year as it looks like the most fun party ever.
