NCL playing card question

Depending on the ship, if you participate in on-board Cruise staff activities like daily trivia you can win a deck of NCL logo playing cards. On the Epic, if you participate in any games, you got an activities card from the Cruise Staff and that can be redeemed at the end of the cruise for NCL playing cards, NCL coffee mug, NCL beach bag, ect.

Believe me you don't want 'those' deck of cards. They're like playing with paper - as they are paper thin.

I always through a deck of cards into my suitcase from home. I know they're quality and know where they've been and who's touched them. LOL

But....if you forget the library usually has cards there for your use. Sadly, those that use them and/or borrow them don't always return them even though they are not 'NCL' playing cards.

On some ships they are available in the game room, but if you want a deck, get there the first day or they will be gone. We always keep a deck in our carry on just in case. Plus I know who has been touching mine.

And you know they are to be left there for others? The reason there aren't many cards around is folks pick them up and take them. The ones in the card/game room are for everyone.

I've often gotten a "game used deck" in the casino for a dollar or two. I have done this in both casino's at sea and on land.

Not anymore on NCL. They stopped giving them away and selling them from the Casino about a year ago.
