QUANTUM Maiden Crossing Photos!!

I normally wait to publish my photos alongside my reviews, but in this case I'm making an exception. I know many are anxious to see as many pics of QUANTUM as possible. I have two sets. First are pics of the ship itself (482 photos!) and the second set are pics of the Cruise Compass, gifts, souvenirs, menus, etc (87 photos!). I tried to capture as many areas and QUANTUM related aspects as possible. All the photos are labeled, just pass your curser over the photo for the title. Hope you enjoy!

Ernie, great photos as always. The ship is beautiful. As I have stated on several other threads. I see Solstice class all over this ship. Just wish the RCI product excited me like it used to. :) Can't wait to read your review.

Actually better than the Solstice Class IMO. Everything Solstice offers and then some. Although there are many design traits from the Solstice Class, this ship is all Royal Caribbean. I'll add the BEST dining experience I've ever had on Royal Caribbean, bar none. As a person that historically loves a large MDR experience, consider me a Dynamic Dining convert. The four included dining venues were absolutely gorgeous with excellent menus, attention to detail, presentation, quality, and service. I honestly felt like I was dining in a Specialty Restaurant every night. They were that good.

FYI plans are in production for the next generation Celebrity ship as well as an Azamara new build. Can't say when or if either will get built, but they are in the works as we speak.

Your pictures are really amazing....you are quite the photographer!

So happy to see they finally got rid of those strappy lounge chairs at the pool areas. It looks like they made the cafe promenade area much smaller and the hallways look a bit narrow.

She looks stunning and can't wait to step on board!

Thanks for sharing.

Thank you excellent pics. Is it my imagination, but Silk looks very grand & luxurious. Hope the menu & quality matches the image

Silk is a lovely space. One of my favorites. I enjoyed the menu and the cuisine. Unfortunately I only had the opportunity to dine here once.

Hi Ernie!

Gorgeous pictures and a gorgeous ship!!! Looks like a cross between an Oasis-class, Radiance-class, and Solstice-class, all rolled up into a wonderful bundle. Would love to try her before she moves oversesas, but I'll have to wait on Anthem of the Seas or thr next sister, depending on where it's based out of.

Looking forward to your review!

Well stated David! QUANTUM does have aspects of all three classes you mentioned, then some of her own making her quite unique. As you know I'm a fan of the Solstice Class but I actually prefer QUANTUM. She really has it all IMO. The elegance of the Solstice Class but the bells & whistles that Royal Caribbean is famous for, plus the Royal Esplanade which really gives her the Royal Caribbean feel.

Of course Two70 is beyond impressive and unique to this class of ship, but another space that I enjoyed far more than expected was The Music Hall. A beautiful space in itself, at night it was like a miniature concert hall and I couldn't get enough of this group called The Wild Boys. They played all 80's music and played it well. I was a kid all over again and being a product of the 80's I was in heaven. The Music Hall had two bars (one upstairs & one downstairs), pool tables, in the back, and was directly adjacent to the casino which was perfect planning.

I'll also just mention the dining experience was the best I've ever experienced on Royal Caribbean. I'm now a huge fan of Dynamic Dining. It was awesome!

Hi Ernie,

Well then, it sounds like, just maybe, that you'll also be booking Anthem of the Seas? ;)

I haven't been paying attention to all of the QotS details, so I don't pretend to understand Dynamic Dining. Guess I'll have to check out the RCI web site for details. I'm still a very casual diner, and prefer not having to make too many dinner reservations in advance like I did on Allure of the Seas.

I do like the overall look of Quantum of the Seas, and I'm guessing there won't be too many modifications in the next few ships in this class, with maybe the exception of a different 'non-reservation casual dining venue' here or there like what they did on Oasis and Allure in the Boardwalk area.

Ernie,

As always, beautiful, high quality pictures that you obviously took much time to take, upload, label and post. Thank you for your time and attention to detail. Those of us with trips in our future and no photographic talent doubly thank you!!!

Eroller, thank you so much for posting all that you have for the Quantum. What a great gift for all of us to enjoy. What dedication, commitment, and selflessness. We just booked for February...and many of the reviews are not favorable from the maiden voyage. After seeing this...I'm not regretting the switch I made from sailing the Allure to Quantum. Did you notice if they split the flow rider in 2 w/ a bumper in middle so that 2 people can surf simultaneously?
