port Canaveral - what the heck is happening today!!

Recommended Posts

I shot this pic around 10 this morning... perhaps getting the damaged life boat ashore before they could bring the gangway to the ship. The life boat can be seen in the lower left. Not that it means anything, I did not see any fire activity while I was there.

They're saying passengers are on board and staterooms are ready ... Does it matter? As long as the bars are open! :D

When they're in a U.S. port, the bars charge tax on the drinks.:(

I have a feeling the Coasties made them fix everything before they could head out from the rogue wave. The glass doors, the life raft, might have been more problems that needed to be fixed in port from it. It was fun seeing it all lit up. Think I saw the QE2 go out at night.

Lifeboat:

In port this morning (10-ish to 11-ish), they used a crane and removed lifeboat #20 (mine ;) ) and I saw a truck bringing in a new lifeboat.

I took pictures and will post them on "my" thread soon.

:)

Thanks for letting us know. Looking forward to seeing your pictures. Have a great cruise.
