cajuncowgirl13 Posted November 16, 2014 #1 Share Posted November 16, 2014 When is the best time to fly in orlando the day of the cruise departing and Fly out?
Clarea Posted November 16, 2014 #2 Share Posted November 16, 2014 I would fly in the day before the cruise if at all possible. If not, then as early as possible the day of the cruise. I'd be comfortable with a noon flight out of Orlando.
Coralc Posted November 16, 2014 #3 Share Posted November 16, 2014 I would agree about the day before. Orlando (MCO) is about an hour from the port. It is a large airport and you have to collect your bags as well as get to the port. Cruise check in must be completed a minimum of 90 minutes before the scheduled departure time. Susie51 Posted November 16, 2014 #4 Share Posted November 16, 2014 Definitely the day before. I need mid afternoon flights when departing in order to have piece of mind. I'd rather sit in an airport for a couple of hours, than miss a flight and have to scramble for the next available flight.
Rare Lionesss Posted November 16, 2014 #5 Share Posted November 16, 2014 We have always flown in a day ahead of time except for our very first cruise when we sailed Disney, and did not know any better. Now it is peace of mind and we get to relax . We always fly home the day we get back to port...usually try for a flight after 12:00. Enjoy Sea Ya
