Excursion HELP in Grand Cayman

Captain Marvin's family were fishermen. The spot where Stingray City is today was where all the fishermen stopped to clean their catch of the day. The rays became accustomed to being fed with the remains of the fish.

Captain Marvin figured it was easier to catch tourists than fish! He started the whole stingray city tour thing!

Always smaller boats (all in truly great shape), smaller groups (no throngs loaded on a large boat that make it look like a traffic jam at rush hour, versus a cruise excursion).

Actually Sting Ray "City" and Sting Ray "Sandbar" are two different areas. :) The sandbar is where all the tours go, and if you have a tour with just that description, you are missing some of the excellent snorkel sites.
