So I will be on the breeze on Dec 6th, and I am wondering if anyone has sailed her during football season and been able to catch any of the game and if so where. I know she doesn't have a sports bar but I am curious to know where I will be able to watch some football.

John Heald has been asking people on his social media page this month whether they want American football games shown on the ship, and especially on the big screens on Lido. So it seems that it is up in the air whether Carnival will. I say American football because most of the ship's crew thinks that football means soccer, and they choose channels.

I would suggest that you ask the cruise director after you board if they will show football games on the public screens. The more people that ask, the more likely that Carnival will show the games.

I think you might be able to see games in the casino lounge, keeping in mind that channel choices onboard are the local Miami stations, and then some of the public screens also have ESPN. I think the SEC championship game on the 6th is supposed to be televised on CBS, so you should be able to see that one (worst case scenario is in your cabin). Ditto for the Big 10 championship game since it is supposed to be televised on Fox. You should also be able to see the Dolphins-Ravens game onboard on December 7th.

Hope you enjoy your cruise bigdawg and get to see the games onboard. Best bet is to speak up onboard. You can also ask in advance on John Heald's blog. Hopefully conference championship games are popular enough that they will show them on the big screens.

On every cruise, the major American sports were played in various areas of the ship. We once sailed during Thanksgiving and we saw the major college and pro games on the bar TVs. When the Miami heat was in the NBA finals of course this was on every TV.

You should be able to catch some of the games that are on NBC, CBS, ABC, and FOX in your stateroom. Keep in mind it is usually the Miami affiliate so just because the schedule says your game will be on a channel it does not mean it will be.
