cobh shuttle into town?

Anyone know a good way to get the the English Market? thanks

There is a suburban train that runs from right beside the dock side in Cobh, to Cork city. You can then walk through the main street oc Cork (St Patrick's Street) to the English market. or, there are always taxis outside the statio,

If you haven't been there before, don't be in too much of a hurry to leave Cobh. It's an interesting place in its own right.

Get the train into Cork early when you arrive, the station is alongside the dock then on your return walk around Cobh.

Shops open usually at 9am weekdays

 

Sunday hours are usually 10.00 - 16.00 :)

Does anyone know if the English Market is open on Sundays? Are many of the shops around closed or close early on Sundays?

The English Market is closed Sundays and public holidays.

 

Most of the big stores in Cork open by 12 noon on Sunday through to 6pm
