Belated update . . . In the last few days the Guest Relations Manager on board has been very active in communicating with us over what happened (I should say what didn't happen ) on Embarkation Day. She has been very kind and we appreciate her efforts on our behalf. She makes a good representative for HAL.

The Signature of Excellence sounds more like a Scribble of Mediocrity. Why does it take such an extraordinary effort to find someone with some authority and get an honest answer from them, or for them to have staff empowered to solve problems.

Over the years I've read about a lot of people's experiences onboard, and this has to be one of the most ridiculous, poorly handled situations I've ever heard about.

 

While I'm glad they are now trying to make things better for you, they would have to go a very long way to make me happy again after an experience like this. Wishing you all the best!

This is just unacceptable. I would be giving them a not so small piece of my mind, (which my husband says I can ill afford). Hope this improves pronto.
