SLScouple Posted December 17, 2014 #1 Share Posted December 17, 2014 We'll be on the Brilliance of the Seas 4 day itinerary on January 8th. I'm planning some activities for our group so I'd would love to see the Compass daily newsletters with activities and bar hours for the 4 day cruise. Or if someone can point me to that info on the RCI website that would be fine, too. Thanks so much for any help you can provide!
cb at sea Posted December 17, 2014 #2 Share Posted December 17, 2014 The bars are open as long as folks are ordering drinks, pretty much! If you plan your activities during normal hours, (not at 2 am!), then you'll be fine!
SLScouple Posted December 17, 2014 Author #3 Share Posted December 17, 2014 So at 2 in the afternoon all the bars on the ship will be open? We're going to do a meet-up type game one afternoon, and I don't want to end up sending some people to bars that aren't open.
spookwife Posted December 17, 2014 #4 Share Posted December 17, 2014 no. at least one will open at like 8 am, but some will not open until 4 or later but the bars that are serving may already have something going on such as Trivia or a musical act so you cannot use it for something you set up on your own. and you will not know the schedule until you get on board
SLScouple Posted December 17, 2014 Author #5 Share Posted December 17, 2014 This is a small thing so it wouldn't be intrusive to a band or a trivia game taking place. I thought the schedules were relatively consistent for the same cruises with the same itinerary.
spookwife Posted December 17, 2014 #6 Share Posted December 17, 2014 This is a small thing so it wouldn't be intrusive to a band or a trivia game taking place. I thought the schedules were relatively consistent for the same cruises with the same itinerary. it would be if the ship sponsored acitvity packed the place and CDs change, or their staff changes so the offered activioties may change. you'd be better off looking for an unused or seldom used venue for your get together such as a card room or library or a lounge that is not yet open. people can bring their own drinks in.
