Royal Carribean and Kids

Is there enough to do with youngish kids for below on Royal Caribbean cruises (we're specifically looking at Allure of the Seas if anyone has specific experience)? Our kids will be 10 (almost 11) and 6.5 (almost 7)

 

• kids clubs
  
• activities you can do together
  
• evening shows
  

 

We love Royal Caribbean line (travelled before kids so never paid attention) and it's quite a bit less than Disney so trying to see if this cruise would be a good option.

My kids are similar ages and love Royal! Besides the kids' club there is rock climbing, big sports court, flow rider and ice skating. Always felt like there was plenty to do.

There is also a great water area with pool (about 2-3 feet deep), spray area & pool with a current.

 

Allure is an awesome ship for kids (& adults)!!

This is the biggest, most family-friendly ship out there....if you and your kids don't run out of time before you run out of things to do, I'd be amazed!

Can kids go on the zip line or is this more of an adult activity?

My understanding is that it is done based on a weight limit--from what I've read you must be at least 75 pounds & not more than 250 pounds. They weigh you right there.

Thanks for the response. Ok...so definitely not for my younger one, and unless my DS has a big growth spurt and gains around 12lbs in 15.5 months, I doubt its for him either. Sounds more like for teens and adults, if in that weight range.
