It was mot at all awful. The ship was very steady and the wind never was a comfort issue. On Monday we had 13C and some sun for a almost the day.

This is what hacks me off. Not you, but the original post.

 

It simply isn't true.

 

The entertainment on the last and 2nd night was a tribute band "The Beatles Experience". They were always going to give two shows (they said this before Amsterdam was cancelled) the question was would the second be a dance session (e.g. not in the main theatre).

 

However the two shows were totally different - there was not one song repeated. We enjoyed both.

Good to actually have someone that was actually on board and doesn't need to snipe at Cunard while claiming to be a regular.

did that particular captain or cunard ever did consider to change amsterdam for rotterdam - ???

no locks for rotterdam and very deep river ...and lots of tugboats including the strongest in the world.

 

such a situation is typically Cunard - i left them for years
