Key west with kids

I'm trying to decide between two cruises. One stops in Key West. I'm kinda ehh about stopping in a city in the US as a port.

What is fun there to do with kids 8 and 10? They are great snorkelers but they have also snorkeled some amazing spots so I'm willing to skip that if it's going to be mediocre and Nassau or Freeport have better snorkel spots. Thanks!

There is so much more to do then just snorkling.

 

The southern most point, eat choc covered key lime pie on a stick, The Ripleys Museum to name a few

KW is charming....doesn't "feel" like the USA....great for shopping, and eating... and your cell phone is free to use there!!!
