Hammock on balcony pictures

Recommended Posts

On few previous cruise I was fortunate enough to have an aft balcony which made it nice and easy to hang a hammock as there was lots of space and open girders to tie the hammock to.

This was our first cruise in a regular balcony and I wondered if I was going to be able to still enjoy my mid afternoon siesta swaying with the roll of the ship.

A couple of extra C clamps and I was all set. We had 2 cabins and had the divider open but there was still room even without the divider open. With the C clamp it could easily be moved out of the way when not in use.

The C clamps and hammock have now made it onto our permanent packing list.

That's a great idea, we just had 1688 on the Explorer last month and you only had a couple of places where you could tie off the hammock and wished there were more places to do so, and a simple c-clamp would have been nice to have!! Great idea!!! I will have to bring them on our Oasis cruise this next December!:D
