Navigator--Disembarkation

Recommended Posts

We are going on the Navigator out of Galveston. I am curious about how disembarkation works if you want to walk off with your luggage.

Do you have to walk down any stairs with your luggage?

Thanks in advance for how the process works.

There are ramps from the ship to the building.

Once there, you can take the elevator, or escalator.

once on the ground floor, there are no steps.

Hope this helps.

P.S. we took our luggage down the escalator. :D

You exit the ship on deck 4. So whatever stairs between your deck and deck four will have to be negotiated. You could try for an elevator, but that would likely be very slow. You also will be advised that you need to sign up for this and be given a group number for debarkation, so not everyone goes at the same time. All are called usually by 8 AM. The escalator mentioned in the above post is AFTER you get off the ship.

Thanks for the information.

Last year on the Liberty out of Ft. Lauderdale, we were told we had to able to take our luggage down the stairs. They made us line up on deck 4 (I think) and then we disembarked on deck 1. We could not use the elevators, had to use the stairs.
