There's a large grocery store on Seawall Blvd (Albertson's, I think) if you have a car.

Maybe Krogers???? Albertsons closed down all their stores in the Houston area years ago!

Bob's Grocery is about 8 blocks away, right across from the Opera house. You might as well head to the Kroger, Target or Walmart on the Seawall though. There are tons of gas stations all over the island as well.

CVS Pharmacy is nearest the Port at 25th & Broadway; sells water & soda.

There is also Arlan's Market at 5th and Market.

A convenience store is located on 21st and Post Office in the downtown area.

Is there anywhere within walking distance from Harbor House to pickup water and soda? We won't have a car, so will have to walk or take a taxi.

 

Also, are taxis easy to find if we decide to take one to Kroger?

Harbor House is at 21st and Harborside.

The hotel will have to call a taxi as we don't have them waiting on corners for passengers.
