Private Excursion Ideas for St. Thomas, St. Maarten?

Hi! This is my first post to Cruise Critic! I was wanting to reach out to some of the veteran cruisers that have visited St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Antigua. I am looking to take my daughter on an 8 day cruise to these locations aboard the Carnival Conquest in September. I will also be also bringing my parents whom are in their early 50's. What do you recommend as good excursions for these locations? I prefer to not have to book through Carnival because I find it to be cheaper to do things by booking with private companies in advance. Any insight that you guys can provide would be helpful! :)

Well, what is it you want to do/see? That will influence what we tell you! A guidebook will tell you all there is to do in each place. Get one at your library, and let us know what interests you!

 

You have a bunch of young folks (50's being VERY young) so pretty much anything can be done!

In St Thomas, Godfrey and Sunny Liston also have good reviews. We are booked with Godfrey in St Thomas and with Bernard's on St Maarten for our upcoming cruise April 2015.
