Rare Stockjock Posted January 20, 2015 #1 Share Posted January 20, 2015 (edited) I did the FAQ for Americans for Croisieres de France on YouTube, but I'm still not sure about the attire in the dining room. I asked them what sort of attire would be appropriate for dinner. For example, would nicer jeans and a dress shirt be suitable? They said yes. I then asked if there was a formal night. I was told, "Every night is a formal night, especially the night(s) that the Captain is there". So I'm still not entirely clear as to the dress code. Do I need a suit or sport coat? Or would the aforementioned dress shirt and nicer jeans be appropriate for dinner any night? Anyone have a feel for this? Rare Stockjock Posted January 20, 2015 Author #2 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Just heard back from my travel agent and he said "you will need a sport coat". If anyone else has any thoughts on this let me/us know.
CrossBluePerchance Posted January 24, 2015 #3 Share Posted January 24, 2015 Info on VTG site states that there is one formal night, but on the other nights the dress code for Restaurant Le Splendide (Main Dining Room) and Le Marche Gourmand Buffet & Bistro is informal or casual. No jeans, shorts or bathing suits in any dining venue after 7pm.
