Will we make it back to HOU?

Carnival Magic arrives back to Port of Galveston at 8am on April 5.

Flight out of HOU is at 11:35am.

 

Considering we're doing a walk-off with bags, will we make it to the airport by 10am? Haven't figured out what I'm going to do to get to HOU (cruise transfer, taxi, private shuttle) but we're experienced cruisers and can get off the ship as long as they let us.

Use your cruise line transfer shuttle within their guidelines for flight times

and you will make it. 11 am is too tight!

This is a rather ambitious schedule, I admit.

Air changed for an evening departure. Now no stressing over getting off the ship and to the airport.

 

Still have to figure out my transportation situation. Worse case scenario is I'll go with the cruise line.

Fortunately, you arrive back on a Sunday, so traffic should not be bad getting to Hobby Airport from Galveston. I would allow at least 1 hour for this trip. If you want to be at Hobby at 10am, you need to be on the road NLT 9am. If you can be off the boat with the first wave, you should make it.

On my last trip to Galveston, there was a accident on he only bridge to get on/off the island and it took 90 mins to cross bridge
