Does the Diamond Princess have hot water kettles in each cabin?

We had a kettle in our inside cabin in October 2014 on our Japan cruises and, as a Brit, it was a wonderful addition as we had brought our own 'PG Tips' tea bags so got a proper cuppa ....not this luke-warm stuff that passes for tea in some parts of the world! I believe that all cabins have kettles when ships are sailing from UK ports and I really don't understand why the kettles are removed in other parts of the world. It would be good to know if it is possible to request a kettle for your cabin.
