Renting snorkel gear?

Renting snorkel gear to me is an amazing prospect, or I should say scary.

People get all in a tizzy about sanitary conditions on the ship but think nothing of putting their nose in an enclosed glass chamber that who know what kinda gunk has been in and then sticking a snorkel that someone has chewed on into their mouths.

Talk about nasty.

If you are going to snorkel check with Divers Direct and buy some inexpensive gear. Two or three snorkel spots and it has paid for itself.

The time we were there, there was plenty of people walking up and down the beach willing to rent snorkel equipment. The more you acted like you wasn't interested, the lower the price would go. :p ;) We have our own equipment so can't comment on the shape it's in though.
