When does Caesar's give out 'free' cruises to Diamond members?

Don't plan on getting one. What casino do you consider your home casino -- that might have something to do with it.

My parents have been Diamond for years and they received zero cruise offers last year. They were actually in Atlantic City one weekend when they were being handed out.

You can always call Norwegian's CAS and see what they offer you.

It almost certainly has to do with your "home" casino. Caesars Windsor, for instance, has their giveaway later this month. I'm debating whether to drive the eight hours or not. :)

That said, I'm not a diamond level member. I have no idea what criteria they're using for this particular giveaway. I was in Windsor one day in 2014. My wife was there four times and didn't receive an offer.

My "home" Caesars is Las Vegas and Harrah's Rincon and we have already received 2 different offers this year.

As someone else said, don't just wait for an offer, call CAS and see what they will give you as sometimes its actually just as good.

Caesar's is suppose to be giving out 2 'free' cruises a year.

anyone know around which months?

I'm trying to plan vacation days.

My boyfriend and I often visit the Caesars properties in Atlantic City. He is a Diamond member; I am only Platinum. There is not a real rhyme or reason to the voucher giveaways. We just missed one in late January because he was working that weekend. Two years ago, he received offers in January, May, August, and November. Last year, we picked one up in January, and he received no other offers until August, and that was from Harrah's only, for a very limited selection of cruises.

Being a Diamond member is also no guarantee of receiving these offers. I have seen posts from Gold and Platinum members who have received offers in the past, and plenty of Diamond members do not. The best theory that I have read here on CC is that these offers are extended to people who gamble a lot in short periods of time. This makes sense, as we travel to AC about 6-8 times per year, and over the course of those trips, my boyfriend gambles enough to reach Diamond status. This is opposed to Diamond members who gamble far more frequently but also lesser amounts on each trip. It stands to reason that NCL would want to attract the binge gamblers :p.

Incidentally, as we could not pick up his latest voucher, we used his 20% Diamond discount to book our cruise for this summer. Considering the very reasonable price that we got for an enormous aft balcony, the included OBC, and the fact that we will not be travelling to Boston and parking, we are paying hardly any more money to cruise on the Breakaway this summer than we did to upgrade to a balcony with his comp voucher on the Dawn two years ago. With the current promotion, depending on the cruise, you might do very well this way. You need to call the regular CAS number, not the certificate redemption number, to explore this option.

Good luck!

My husband is platinum with Total Rewards and he was offered a free NCL cruise for two, unfortunately we had to go to Las Vegas to pick it up. I want to say it was this weekend - I just remember it being early February and can't imagine it being Valentines weekend. Unfortunately, by the time we paid to fly back to Vegas and took time off, it wasn't worth the free cruise. Too bad for us the closest Harrah's property is 10 hours away.

Where did you hear or read that?

Anyways, cruise offers are not based on Tier. They are based on play, or play they hope for. Diamonds GENERALLY have high play, but not always,.

The land casino offers it to get you to come visit and donate.

They work a deal with the ship with hopes you will cruise and donate.

There is nothing more to it that that.

As seven-star members of a total rewards, we receive cruise offers about once every six months. With that being said, it's always from Caesars Las Vegas, which is where we stay and play the most. Therefore I think it is totally based where you spend the most money. With that being said, call Casino Of The Seas reservations. They sometimes give better discounts than just the Total Rewards discount.
