Sail away party.

Does anyone know if Celebrity do a sail away party? I am going on the Solstice in Sept to Hawaii and when we did the Caribbean with Princess they always had a sail away party up on deck.

I have never heard of a cruise ship without a sailaway party as long as sailaway is at a reasonable time.

There has always been a sail away party on all the ships we have been on -- on various cruise lines -- and that has been quite a few.

We have even been on ships that had sail away parties for some of the ports when we left them.

I'm sure that the ship will have some sort of sailaway party, listed in the daily bulletin -- which you should receive upon boarding. Also, if you join the roll-call for your sailing, you may find that they have some sort of "unofficial" meet-n-greet planned for sailaway. Either way, you shouldn't have to look very far for a party, that day! :cool:

Thank you, I hope there will be. The reason I asked was when I did a RCI cruise around Oz and NZ 14 months ago they did not have one. Every cruise apart from that one have always had one.
