Former Goalie Posted February 12, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 12, 2015 We sailed Holland once, there was a walk to raise money for Susan G. Komen (HAL still does it, but for a different cause). Does RCI do anything similar?

Paulette3028 Posted February 12, 2015 #5 Share Posted February 12, 2015 They do "Walk for Wishes." It goes to the "make a wish" foundation. What I like about the "Walk for Wishes" fundraiser is that you may have on the cruise a family that benefitted from the funds that RCCL has raised. It provides a week long vacation for a child and their family as a fulfillment of the child's "wish". It is nice to sail on a ship with the Make a Wish flag flying, which signifies that on board is a family whose wish is being fulfilled.
