1st time Early Saver Rate Price Reduction

My Thursday has started out pretty good.

 

I checked the fare viewer on Carnival's website and was pleasantly surprised to see that fare for my category cabin had been reduced. This is the first time I've booked an Early Saver Rate and the first time I've been able to take advantage of a rate reduction. Saved $80.... WOO HOO!!!

 

Even though I am not retiring early (didn't win the $500,000,000 Powerball Lotto), I feel like I won a smaller lotto with the price reduction. I know now the happy feeling people have gotten when they've come up on a price reduction for their cabin. 205 days to go!!

Right after I booked, mine went up $150, which is why I was surprised to see it down this AM.

So weird I check every morning & evening and mine is $400 more then what I paid for the past 6wks

I looked on Tuesday and our cruise went down $50 each too. I was pretty surprised since our cruise is so far out yet. But am quite happy about the total costing $100 less now.:D

We got $670 in price drops on our upcoming cruise back in the fall. I don't think there will be anymore though since now it's $959 more than the lowest rate that we matched to! So happy that I watch for the drops. :D
