screenname2004 Posted September 1, 2005 #1 Share Posted September 1, 2005 If three people booked a cabin and two can not go, how would the fare be handled for the 3rd pax? Does s/he pay the original fare for 3? Can we sub another two persons? Thanks.
SailAways Posted September 1, 2005 #2 Share Posted September 1, 2005 Sounds as though you need to contact your TA, or whoever you booked through. To reply, anyone here would probably need to know what cruise line you are on, when your booking is for, etc. If you have the brochure from your cruise line, you probably could find the answer somewhere towards the back where all of the specific information is. I know with NCL, which we are booked on, it is much more expensive for only one person to be in a cabin. As for changing names, that can be done, but within a time frame, and at an additional cost. Specifics for your particular situation can only be obtained by you, by contacting the appropriate person or cruise line with whom you are booked. Good luck. Rare LHT28 Posted September 1, 2005 #3 Share Posted September 1, 2005 If only one person goes you probably pay the single supplement... some lines allow name changes (for a fee) before final payment but it depends on the cruiseline. Contact your TA or the cruiseline for the info.
