Hilton in Nassau with kids

We will be in Nassau in a month with our 3 yr old and 8 month old. If the weather is nice, we may get a day pass at the Hilton Colonial. Has anyone ever done this with young kids? We could just do Junkanoo beach but I think I read the pool is heated at the Hilton and we would hope that the changing facilities at the Hilton are nicer than the public beach. Any reasons why this would be a bad idea to go here?

Just the expense. It's a small, quiet business resort, but I'm sure everyone would have a good time. We preferred the Melia, but my kids are older, font need car seats, and the property had more for them to do, plus a nicer beach.

You really don't need to "change"...just let yourselves dry off...slip shorts over the suit, and do your changing when you get back to the ship!
