Camp Ocean - Split up 5 1/2 yo and 7 1/2 yo Siblings?

After taking a long break from cruising...we decided to place a hold on a family cruise. We are thinking of the Carnival Magic out of Galveston over Thanksgiving Break. Do you think that Camp Ocean will enforce the age divisions? I have a DD and DS that are aged 5 1/2 and 71/2 at the time of sailing. Would they let my children be together?

No, they're pretty strict with ages...neither will want to be with a group of the other age. The activities are very "age specific"...The older would be bored silly with the younger kids, and the older kids would really have an issue with a "baby" in their group.

 

There will be PLENTY of time for them to be together outside of the kid's clubs!

Sometimes they will let the older child move down. That said, it can be a great growth experience for children to learn they can do things on their own.
