stlwaterbaby Posted February 24, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 24, 2015 After taking a long break from cruising...we decided to place a hold on a family cruise. We are thinking of the Carnival Magic out of Galveston over Thanksgiving Break. Do you think that Camp Ocean will enforce the age divisions? I have a DD and DS that are aged 5 1/2 and 71/2 at the time of sailing. Would they let my children be together?
cb at sea Posted February 24, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 24, 2015 No, they're pretty strict with ages...neither will want to be with a group of the other age. The activities are very "age specific"...The older would be bored silly with the younger kids, and the older kids would really have an issue with a "baby" in their group. There will be PLENTY of time for them to be together outside of the kid's clubs!
stlwaterbaby Posted February 25, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted February 25, 2015 I figured that is what would happen. Thanks for your response.
6rugrats Posted February 26, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 26, 2015 Sometimes they will let the older child move down. That said, it can be a great growth experience for children to learn they can do things on their own.
