HALrunner Posted February 25, 2015 #1 Share Posted February 25, 2015 This is our first time driving to a port- where is the most convenient place to park for a week? We will be sailing on Holland America and depart this weekend, so any advice is greatly appreciated!
megr1125 Posted February 25, 2015 #2 Share Posted February 25, 2015 At the pier.....just follow the signs and you're all set. There might be some off site parking too, but then you're stuck waiting for them to get you....
HALrunner Posted February 25, 2015 Author #3 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Thanks so much for your quick reply! Are there signs to direct me to which garage for our ship? p.s. I noticed from your signature that we will be on the Emerald Princess a few weeks after you:)
Mr and Mrs CIQ Posted February 25, 2015 #4 Share Posted February 25, 2015 (edited) We used park n go which is close to the port. It is just outside the security gates. We did not have to wait for the shuttle long and the drivers also helped us with our luggage. https://bookparkngo.com/ Edited February 25, 2015 by Mr and Mrs CIQ

For more info on Port Everglades, check out http://www.porteverglades.net. Parking is $15/day at the port. eandj Posted February 25, 2015 #6 Share Posted February 25, 2015 Another option if needing a night precruise is to use a hotel that has the park and stay package. See parksleepfly.com or stay123.com

There's a sign as you enter telling where your ship will be and signs showing you where to go. Also, port people are around in case you get confused. :) LuLu

royalcruz Posted February 26, 2015 #9 Share Posted February 26, 2015 (edited) There are signs to show you to your terminal, but not so much for parking. There are a few garages and lots, and really you just park at the closest one to the terminal. There are police officers directing traffic at the terminals, and you can ask them for help if you need it. It's easiest to drop your luggage off before parking.
