Boat rental - KS vs. Somersetbridge?

We did Somerset Bridge Watersports two years ago. It is an easy, quick bus ride to Somerset Bridge. Make sure the bus lets you off on the far side of the bridge since there are sidewalks back over the bridge to where you have to cross the road to get to the Watersport facility. We had a great time. We rented a Boston Whaler and their pontoon boat. The people before us were a little late in returning but our four hour rental started when we boarded the boats. They gave us maps to follow and suggestion on where to go. We had a great four hours. We stopped at a couple of beaches, went to the ship wreak, passed under Somerset Bridge on our way back in, and just toured the area. There were 15 of us and everyone had a great time. My Grandsons rented fishing equipment from Somerset and even did some "Deep Sea Fishing" as they called it. Highly recommend - do the boat rental.

Haven't used KS sorry.

We rented from H2O Watersports located in Somerset Village, Sandys at the Cambridge Beaches resort, a 3 minute walk from the Somerset Village bus stop. We were staying on the island and took a jet ski tour from Somerset Bridge Watersports and another day took out the Boston whaler from H2O.

Loved exploring the different sides of the island on our own and having a picnic on a private island. You'll dind decent snorkeling right there in Mangrove Bay along the smaller islands where you can also picnic.

Both great outfits!

We are looking forward to renting a motorboat in July. Is 4 hours long

enough to snorkel, swim and explore? I assume it gets very hot out there? Do you bring water from the ship or is there somewhere to buy it? What did you do for snorkel equipment and food for snacks?

We did a four hour rental. It was long enough for us. If you use Somerset Watersports, there is a small store right on their dock that you can purchase water, soda, snacks, etc. . Somerset Watersports rents snorkel equipment and fishing equipment right there at their dock. It really doesn't feel very hot out on the water but you have to be careful not to get sunburned. Use lots of sun block.

Yes 4 hrs is great, we had the option of staying out as long as we wanted which gave us more flexibility. But we were staying on the island too.

Whoever you go with you will have a store available, and support.

Enjoy!
