Best options with a 1 year old?

We'll be cruising with our brand new daughter and are looking for safe yet somewhere nice for all of us (my parents as well) options for Roatan. Any suggestions??

You'll be docking in Coxen Hole. Best beach bet is to head for West Bay. Not many places around Coxen Hole other than for shopping.

We have taken our little one to Club Natale twice with extended family. We like it because it is quiet and relaxing, great pool, no vendors and like being on a private beach. It is between Coxen Hole and Mahogany Bay so isn't too far to go with little one.

 

You can google for further info and photos or search on this board. I have written a report previously. There are kayaks and snorkeling available with good reviews but we haven't done it. Massages if you require. It is a very laid back resort and wouldn't suit someone looking for lots of noise and facilities. It is clean and quiet. I feel the inclusive day passes are expensive but we have just done PAYG with entry fee day pass and find it very reasonable.

 

The biggest problem with Roatan is the expensive transport options and you are as well to take a private driver for the day instead of trying to arrange a taxi. However Club Natale provides transport which has been reliable included in the day pass rate.

 

My other suggestion from Coxen would be Maya Key (very close, short boat ride from port to island) but I haven't been since it became a cruise ship only excursion.
