Dresses That Will Cover Middle Age Bump

Another vote for the Lands End ponte dresses. I really like quality ponte in lots of garments.

I can vouch for the fact that the tiered dresses hide a multitude of lumps and bumps. I was trying on mother of the groom dresses and getting more frustrated by the minute, when a friend brought "THE" dress into the fitting room. I would never have chosen it, but I put it on and that was the end of my shopping. Here's what it looked like on his wedding day in Tokyo.

I have a couple of similar dresses, one for my son's wedding. They do amazing things for the waist area, my main problem at 69; I'm not overweight, just tummy/waist pouchy.

I also am not overweight, but have the dreaded tummy bump. I have several dresses where the fabric is gathered at the bust and then falls straight down. All one sees is the fabric and not the bump. I think it only works with jersey fabric. I can't give you a brand because I've had the dresses for several years. You have to keep your eyes open for that look.
