Are there self service laundry/ ironing rooms on NCL ships?

No, removed from older ships years ago and never built on newer ships. You can borrow an ironing board and an iron through the room steward though.

There is usually a laundry special at some point during the cruise. They provide a bag and you fill it with clothing that needs to be cleaned, and they charge a flat price for it. On our recent Epic sailing, I believe it was $27.99.

I used the laundry service and the clothes came out perfect

all pressed on hangers etc

I used to actually choose my cabin based on location to the guest laundry.... After many many cruises I got smart I did not go on a cruise to spend hours watching and running back and forth for laundry.

Last onboard laundry bill after 16 days and sending stuff out daily was $150 best vacation ever!!!

We tend to go on longer cruises and therefore need to wash our clothes more often. We also have the time to wash them on a longer cruise. I have heard some horror stories re: ruining clothes with the ship's laundry service, so prefer to do our own. It doesn't take us long. My husband helps and we are done in an hour or so. No biggie for us.

So do I and I love coming home and not having to do laundry before I have to go back to work!
