Emerald Beach Question

I read an old thread where people were able to rent umbrellas and use the pool and facilities there.

 

But then I read another thread that that was not the case.

 

Will be sailing in June and need some recent info....

The pool is for guests only but you can use the restrooms. Find a spot on the beach, sit down on a chair and someone will come over to help you. :)

Another Emerald Beach question....Do we ask the taxi driver to take us to the Emerald Bay resort or to the beach?

Best Western Emerald Beach, there is a entrance on the side of the hotel.

Do you know how much the taxi ride is from Havensight (west indian co)? How many minutes also? thanks.

Around 15 minutes, maybe 20-25 minutes on return to Havensight. Cab is 6.00 p/p ea way.

Taxis are in the parking lot to take you back into town or back to the pier. We enjoyed the food and drinks at the beach bar with free wi-fi. And yes the pool is for hotel guests. Chairs were $7 and found shade under the palm trees.
