Need To Be Educated A Bit!

Hi All,

We have just booked a Honolulu to Vancouver cruise for April 26th, 2016. The questions arise due to the fact that the Solstice departs Honolulu at 11:59 p.m. So...

What is the earliest we are allowed to board the Solstice under this circumstance?

When do they hold the Life Boat Drill when leaving this late? Did I read that it is unnecessary to bring your Life Vest with you to the drill or do we need to bring them.

Inquiring minds need/want to know. Thanks in advance for your help.

Dave

On our Honolulu/Sydney cruise in Sep 2014, sail away was at 11:59 PM. Boarding was at the usual times (maybe starting at 11 or 11:30) and the safety drill was before dinner - somewhere in the 4-5 pm timeframe. I can't remember if you were allowed to get off the boat after that because we didn't do it.

You do not take your life vest to the drill.

Our TA just yesterday told us the earliest boarding is at 6:30 PM for the midnight sailing.

I really hope boarding can be done much earlier!

I would double check that as boarding would be in line with what cruzzzinma stated.
