Just curious, were you able to get Cheers on the second day? or does it have to be the first

I actually don't purchase Cheers so I'm not sure as I haven't researched this. However, from reading the Carnival forums I believe you an purchase this on the second day but would defer to others for a definitive answer.

Thanks for the review! The Imagination is my most sailed ship so far. Most recently I just sailed her on a quick 2 day to Ensenada back in December. The 4 day itinerary you took was my very first cruise (different ship though). I wouldn't mind taking it again and returning to Catalina Island. The short Long Beach cruises seem to be having better deals lately, especially with no solo supplement, than the short ones from Florida.

What a great review...I just love that short 4 day cruise out of Long Beach...thank you very much, it was my first Carnival Cruise..ten the Paradise..I don't know what it is...simplicity and relaxation and good food for a smaller group for 4 days...I just don't know why because it is so simple but I loved it with just the bells and whistles as they are and the ship looks gorgeous...I like Fantasy class..thanks you went above and beyond with every detail......Sarah

PS I had a pre-remodeled 1a. I liked the storage in bathroom better but it looks nice and modern and spiffed up now. I had to use a stool for a night stand and the chair, upholstered stool and nightstands are nice additions. I had a fake curtain window where your picture was...a kind if nice little ledge but you room looked great too...need a few more pillows to lean on with that bunk and what a deal...a roomy inside with tv on for day is perfect for these short cruises for one...Sarah

PSS I liked the funny old fashioned night light big ship pannel and table box in corner for stuff like life jackets..but that is just silly details...now there is even more room.

All the carpet and deco type themes...just loved the ship...it is still a lot of marble, wood, brass bucks, and upkeep on those nice decks...

and she looks good.

You also captured that spa area which I found very relaxing and nice..you can see the light at one end and that is a big nice window close to free sauna and steam area...again..simple..but free and there they were not ever crowded on this cruise for me..the spa locker/shower/sauna/ massage and wait areas are updated and nice.

Both males and females have their own areas there...Sarah

Where did you find a no single supplement deal? I've been looking for them.

By far and away one of the BEST reviews I have ever read. Awesome job!

Kerrie:)

Thanks! I'm flattered. I'm sailing on the Miracle in 10 days and on the Inspiration in 30 days. I'll have reviews for each.

Thank you for your excellent review Kobayahi. Loved all the pictures on board the ship, and I also appreciated the Fun Times and shore excursion brochure.

I am looking at taking this cruise combined with a 7 day cruise on another ship sometime in the future. You've got me hooked on the 4 day cruise!

Thank you for your excellent and most thorough review! I enjoyed it very much as well as your photos. I have always wanted to do a west coast cruise, especially to Catalina. Some day after I retire hopefully:) Thanks

Very good write-up with pictures. I have done this itinerary twice, and really enjoyed it too.

I was not able to read all your posting, but sort of scan it, so I don't know if you have done any other cruising, but I am going to ask anyway.

We are going on the Splendor this Sunday. Have you been on this ship, and if so, tell me your thoughts?

Really cool review, Catalina pics were really interesting.

Any other pics of the Queen Mary? I saw her in some shots hanging around.

Thanks!

Unfortunately I don't have many pictures of the Queen Mary. This is the only shot I could find.
