Where are all of you finding a $50 OBC today? When I do a mock booking for my July Breeze cruise, I'm not seeing any offers for OBC.

Early Saver is offering obc right now. I also have a VIFP offer that comes with obc.

We sail in August as well..how long ago did you book?

Thank you

December. I thought this sailing was a tad overpriced to begin with, which is why I initially booked an interior. We're in an oceanview now.

No early saver OBC offer on my July 18 sailing. I did a mock booking of some Breeze October sailings and there it was - a $50 OBC early saver bonus. I guess I'm naive enough to have thought that something like that would pertain to early saver rates across the board. Guess it's all about supply and demand.

So I have to thank those that have mention getting OBC!! I just called and they re-priced my booking and now I have the $50.00 OBC on top of the original $180.00 I started this thread about! So looking at it this way, that's a total of $230.00 really!!!:D

Yeah well me and you both. Both your sailing and mine has ES listed as "Early Saver last call." However when I looked at the stipulations it does say for sailings between August-December 2015.

Thanks for posting about the OBC. Earlier my price was cheaper by $30 but didn't include the OBC (I already had $50 from an earlier deal) so I checked again. It's down $90 and includes the OBC.

I tried to submit a form but the website froze. Left a VM for my PVP to call me back.

I just submitted for another $20 drop... but I have no idea where or how to check for the $50 OBC...

When you get your approval and your new "bill" look at the very bottom of that. Mine was on there under the final price and everything. If it's not there, you may want to call.

  • 2 weeks later...

Another Price Drop on my Cruise!!

Carnival Glory 10/31/15 14 day Voyages Cruise. No OBC (on board credit) included with these rates. We were able to upgrade our category of room for slightly more with these new rates. Well worth a look. Hopefully this helps those looking for single supplements as well. Add $100 to pick your own room rather than having Carnival pick it for you.

Starting Rates as of 4/18/15:

  • Inside - $769.00

  • Oceanview - $1,099.00
  • Balcony - $1,459.00
  • Suites - $2,009.00

when i am checking cruises, some show early saver last call.. i am pretty sure that is just on the ones that are almost to the date where you can no longer book that particular cruise as early saver because either the 5 month or 3 month deadline has been reached.

I'm totally new to the cruise life, so when I saw these threads yesterday, I checked the fair finder link (someone graciously posted) and then called Carnivals 800# - got a super nice Shannon on the line and she changed my rate and told me to call anytime!

I wish I knew at the time to have her assigned as my PVP.

I got $10 off the cruise rate pp and a $30 OBC - do they give you both a rate change and OBC each time the rate decreases?

I submitted the form for a $80 price drop and received $40 of it. sent the form in again after rechecking that it WAS $80 less but received the standard rejection... can someone post the email to send then screenshot please? I replied to the rejection letter but it looks to be a fax number as the email address?

Thank you.. They are really making me work for it this time. Received a 3rd rejection through the link provided in this thread but also a response from the email you just provided saying they need 48 hours to review so we will see..

Try calling them, i was rejected for a price drop and i called the 800# and the price was adjusted by the agent i spoke with on the phone, good luck.

Received an email reply stating I would need to be repriced and I would lose our $50 obc.... I didn't even know I had gotten an obc! Must have happened somewhere along the line..... anyway it didn't make sense to lose $50 obc for $40 off my rate.

This is my first cruise and I booked early saver for June on conquest. We are about 67 days out and on fare viewer the early saver is now gone. How do I check for price drops now? Up until now, I clicked on early saver and then found my category.

I was wondering this myself.

You don't have to match just to early saver rate. You match to any rate that you qualify for within your same stateroom category. So, early saver isn't available, but let's say the Cruise n' Choose is and the rate is lower, then you match to that, but you will always remain early saver. I hope I am making sense.:D

Just saw that the price for a balcony room for my august cruise went down $90 in early saver and the casino rate is even less. Just emailed my TA (my bad for booking through a TA) to have her put in the request. Got GC through Verizon earlier this week...its been a good week! Cruise paid for, excursions paid for, fun paid for through GC's....OBC would just be icing!
