MADflyer Posted April 1, 2015 #1 Share Posted April 1, 2015 Royal Caribbean International has announced the development of the port of St. Maarten. Sint Maarten Quarter brings a Reef Lagoon, aquarium and zip-line to St. Maarten waterfront http://www.seatrade-insider.com/news/news-headlines/reef-lagoon-aquarium-zipline-coming-to-st-maarten-waterfront.html The developer's website also reveals that RCI have future plans to develop the ports of Curacao and Barbados with future projects. These would seem to support further development of the 9 night sailings planed for Navigator in 2016 and longer Serenade sailings from Port Everglades. mattpro Posted April 2, 2015 #3 Share Posted April 2, 2015 Yes It is the area in front of where ships are docked, extending to the left where all the land has been cleared. They have been working on this for the past year. No buildings up as last month. Will see how development is progressing when I'm there next month.
