Do you plan to try something new on your next cruise?

Actually we have pretty much done everything we wanted to do. We did sail on our first 2.0 ship this past Feb and have been to all the ports that were on our "Bucket List", some more than once. We may spend more time on board on port days and enjoy the solitude.

I would like to try afternoon tea . Anyone who has tried it do you have to dress up for this?

Nope, you do not have to dress up. Went with my boys and other family and friends on the Dream in August. Everyone enjoyed.

This is our 2nd time on the Breeze and we didn't get to try/experience everything the first time. I'm betting there will be things we still didn't get to try after we're done sailing as well! So many options to try new things...

Finally going on the Breeze! Trying a balcony room this time around, cruising for eight days instead of 7 or less, three sea days the most of all cruises for us and finally going to the Southern Caribbean. All the ports will be new except Grand Turk so we have a lot of planning and exciting new things to try and see.

I might also try the room service since we have a balcony.

145 days and counting..... August cannot get here fast enough

We've been meaning to go to afternoon tea, but have never made it. We have 4 sea days this cruise, so maybe we will be able to try it this time.

Our latest cruise was the 1st time we didn't do tea at least once, some lines do t a lot better than others.

We are trying all new ports and a new ship this time if it counts.

What I am really going to try new is hitting the gym and walking track at least once a day on port days, and at least twice on sea days.

Starting the first week of March I decided I was going to lose weight. I have dropped 4 pants sizes since then! So the really new thing is keeping to healthy practices while on vacation for me!

A few things my next 2 cruises are on new ships and also the first time I've personally paid for the trip

Cruising with only my mom(I usually cruise with my dad, friends, or family members)

This June I'm going to Alaska for the first time ever!

I look forward to trying all the sluts on the ship! :D oops I mean all the SLOTS! ;)

I look forward to making memories with my parents on the cruise that I'm taking each of them on before I move to China for a year.

I also look forward in like 555 days to sail the Vista in her inaugural season in Europe.

Lots of firsts for me which is exciting since I've lately become a little bored with Caribbean cruising. Unfortunately that's where mom wanted to go and I said it was her choice.

On our recent cruise, I decided I would try the "Didja Ever" every single night in the main dining room. They had escargot, which I already knew we love, we ordered 3 of them. : )

I also tried alligator fritters, frog legs, ox tongue, cured salmon (was not a first), and I don't remember what was on the other 2 nights. I'm pretty sure sushi was one of the nights.

Cruising is my favorite time to try new things! This time around it will be my first time in Aruba and Curacao. I'm also planning on trying the Chef's Table. Every cruise I say I'm going to try blackjack in the casino, but I never get up the nerve. Thinking of trying snorkeling for the first time in Turks and Caicos. Oh, and this is my first time on the Valor, thought not on this class of ship. Edited by ATLCruiseJunkie
There are lots of things I want us to try. We usually get tired after being in the sun all day and a big dinner. Our night life if kind of pathetic. Hopefully we can visit the casino, maybe even a bar and spend some time in the adults only section (assuming my daughter is ok with camp carnival).
Yes we try different things each time ... Last cruise we tried the cheers package and loved it we spent more time at the different bars highly recommend the alchemy bar .. One night we didn't eat in the MDR as we normally eat in the MDR ... Also planning on trying a spa treatment for next cruise, watching a movie under the stars, having a breakfast burrito ... The list is endless

We are trying something new this time...ALASKA! We have always done Caribbean but this year we decided to be different. This will also be the first time we have flown to a port. (usually drive to New Orleans or Galveston)

Very excited about this trip! :)
