Does Carnival Offer a Happy Hour?

"does Carnival have a happy hour"?

Unfortunately no:(

I wish they did though...but also don't expect they will ever, since they seem to have a huge problem giving a free drink:rolleyes:

I can see it now....happy hour in the atrium bar, between 0230 and 0400, buy one drink, get one 50pc off, but you must be wearing your carnival robe, and you must have a name beginning with X, plus you must be between the ages of 80 and 90, with a full head of hair, but the hair color cannot be white ;)

RCL does. Just pointing that out. They have 2 for 1 at different bars, different times. Though, it was the last night before we were able to them, due to not being able to figure out HOW to get into the bar.

We don't really buy drinks on cruise. I DO require a dod (if they have one without coconut) on a sea day. And I may get one other. Our bar tab and coffee tab are always low.

On our recent Liberty cruise, coming back from one of the ports, they put an orange zip tie on my friends backpack after xraying it. They never said a word to us and she didn't have any contraband in it so we just kept going to our room. The zip tie was at the top around the carrying handle. We just cut it off with nail clippers in the room. We probably would have picked up some liquor in port if we knew how easy it would have been to get it to our room.

I've heard people say to buy 2 bottles. Wrap one in a towel at the bottom and leave one on top where you can see it. If they zip tie your bag and you proceed to the confiscation table, they will probably just take the one on top.
