Restaurant near shopping AND water

Any recommendations for a good place to eat downtown on the water?

Do you just want a "view" of the water, or do you want to be able to "access" the water? No beaches downtown, mostly iron shore.

Let us know a little more about what you want to do, and how mobile you are - how far you can walk to shops afterwards.

Most of the good restaurants both local, and more expensive, are on the back streets - some have a courtyard but no ocean view. Our favorite ocean-view in town would be Rolandi's on the edge of town but we have only been at night for sunset-view and I don't think they open until noon.

The upstairs balcony restuarant at the museum is usually well recommended, (check recent TA reports). It is in town. I haven't tried it yet but I think it would be a good option for lunch with a view.

Also, Palmeria has some seating outside and is across the waterfront street from the ferry dock. I think there are a couple of upstairs restaurants along that stretch too, that may have window seating. And there's the over-priced mediocre food at Margaritaville.
