Port or Starboard side on Alaska Cruise?

Recommended Posts

Wondering if it is better to be port or starboard side on Alaska cruise roundtrip out of Seattle (Explorer of the Sea)? We will be doing the inside passage and wondering if either side is better for viewing. TIA!

Either is fine. When you get up close to the glacier, the captain will rotate the ship around so all sides have a view.

Book which ever cabin is convenient to what you might consider important on the ship. We tend to book either portsides or true afts...just a personal decision...Regardless you will have amazing views from most anywhere on the ship or from your balcony...after all it's Alaska...Enjoy !!
